Abu Dhabi (UAE) 30 January 2015: Paris Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi(PSUAD) and its Department of Applied Foreign Languages will conduct a lecture on “Airbus and Boeing Airplane Manufacturers and Airline Strategies “ . Lecture will be given by World-famous Francois Vellas at Amphitheatre Robert de Sorbon, Paris Sorbonne University Abu-Dhabi, Al reem Island, Abu Dhabi on on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 6PM to 7.30PM.
Francois Vellas is a Professor of International Economics at the University of Toulouse Capitole and Director of the TED Programme, Tourism Ethics and Development, of the Acting of Life Foundation. The lecture will be delivered in English.
About Francois Vellas
François Vellas is Professor of International Tourism Economicsat the University of Toulouse 1 and at Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civile, (ENAC) . It is the only aviation-oriented university in France offering a wide and complete panel of aeronautics-oriented training programmes and activities, serving the aeronautical world, and particularly the air transport sector. He has a PhD in Economics and is Director of the Master (M2) in international tourism economics. François Vellas has got a large experience of analysing international air transport and tourism globalisation, sustainable and cultural tourism development, economic development, export of tourism servicesand air transport, direct international investments and economic impacts of tourism. He is the author of a dozen books and numerous reports on international economics, tourism and air transport .
François Vellas has got a vast experience of collaboration with United Nations and European Union agencies, particularly: WTO (World Tourism Organisation.
